Signed Nobuiye No Kata Ni Yoru Miochin Munetaka Saku [Made In The Style Of Nobuiye By Miochin Munetaka] And Dated Ansei 3 [1856]
A bold mask finely forged in russet iron with bold wrinkles on the cheeks and a fluted pattern on the chin and along the outer edge of the mask, the nose detachable held by hooks, the upper lip turned over and lacquered red, the mouth with silvered teeth, shaped pegs on the underside of the chin and hooks on the cheeks for the attachment of the helmet cord
