the russet iron mask well formed with deep chin and chicks, on the point of the chin is a mokku [melon flower] within a circle applied in iron and another pierced cherry blossom design on each cheak, the bottom of the chin inlaid in silver nunome with an ivy leaf and scrolling karakusa, a simple three lame solid plate black lacquered throat defense laced with mauve close lacing, the interior of both mask and throat defense lacquered red
