The katana blade hon-zukuri, iorimune, high shinogi, extended chu-kissaki, slightly tsukare itamehada with ji-nie, komidare hamon of nioi, chu-maru boshi, suriage nakago, 24in. (63cm), the wakizashi blade hon-zukuri, iorimune, chu-kissaki slightly tsukare itamehada, gunome hamon of nie, omaru boshi, ubu nakago, Bizen Yoshii school, 18in. (47.4cm), in their dark red saya with narrow black bands, green silk binding over black same, silver mounts en suite comprising fuchi-kashira, kozuka, kogai, koiguchi, kurikata, uragawara and kojiri, all finely chiselled with Omori-style undercut waves overlaid with gilt chidori and spray, the fuchi, kozuka and kogai signed Narita Eizui, mokkogata silver tsuba finely carved with waves and inlaid with gilt spray, both signed Omori Hidetomo and kao, menuki formed as gilt crayfish (2)
