Rectangular box, the baluster sides and base engine-turned, the cover enamelled with two blue and black flowerhead rosettes flanked by four engraved rectangular rosettes in the corners, the centre enamelled with translucent green basse-taille foliage, a slide on the front side opening the hinged oval flap enamelled with a view of Lake Geneva at the outside and with a flowerspray at the inside, and releasing the mechanism of the colourfully plumed mute bird rotating on its axis, flapping its wings and turning its head, the key in rear key compartment
