European in Pseudo-Indian style, late 19th century
Two flask-shaped bottles, each enamelled in opaque white cloisonn, sparing the wavy gold bands and chased and engraved stylized monsters, the front and rear sides applied with oval reserves engraved with mythological figures and coated with translucent red enamel, the short sides applied with cabochon and old-cut emeralds, the stem held by two nude ladies sculpted in gold, standing on a circular spreading foot applied with emeralds and diamonds, the necks of the bottles set with old-cut diamonds, the similarly jewelled stoppers topped by emerald cabochons and attached to the body with chains
