Flask-shaped bottle, chased and repouss with reeded c-scrolls, the matted reserves enamelled en relief with the Crane and the Fox after La Fontaine's fable on one side and a bird with a snake on the other, trailing foliage, flowers and rocaille in raised enamel on the other matted gold parts, the spreading oval foot enamelled with leaves and flowers and set at the base with a carnelian matrix engraved with a putto worshipping the sun engraved with the motto "JADORE ET BRULE", the enamelled bird stopper attached to the flask with a chain; with fitted original tooled leather case
