signed and dated 'Vestier fecit 1778' (mid-right)
oval, 1.5/8 in. (41 mm.) high, gold mount stamped with flowerheads alternating with wavescrolls, set in the cover of a gold-mounted circular red, green, orange and white striped lacquer bonbonnire (3.1/8 in. 78 mm. diam.)
