Boat-shaped semi-translucent grey agate snuff-box, the cover with rectangular rear and u-shaped front, resting on a gold-mounted slightly raised oval base, the cover and sides carved with stylized shell, scroll and palm branch motifs, the reeded gold mounts with plain thumbpiece
