A pair of Cantagalli blue and white maiolica triple-ground tulip-vases
Late 19th Century, cockerel marks to bases
Each with three ascending globular tiers, each tier issuing six nozzles, the final tier surmounted by a single flared opening, painted with figures including ladies and companions, soldiers and philosophers among buildings in landscapes with winged putti in flight above, the spreading feet painted with scrolls below a border of false gadroons (both vases restored)
