The rectangular breakfront top above a Greek key-patterned frieze, the legs headed by panels inscribed with the names and dates of Roman luminaries, the sides with quotations from Roman authors, on stiff-leaf moulded, naturalistically carved massive legs and paw feet, united by a rectangular breakfront plinth base
