Charles Edwin Wyndham took the name of Edwin when he succeeded to his mother's property Llanvihagel, Cowbridge, Glamorgan. He was Member of Parliament for Westminster and afterwards for Glamorgan. He married Miss Pooke of Biggerweiss [?] House, Monmouth. His son, Thomas Wyndham of Dunraven Castle, Glamorgan, was also Member of Parliament for Glamorgan. He married Miss Ashley of Quenby Hall, Leicestershire.
