woodcuts, 1498- circa 1511, the complete set of sixteen plates including the title, in the 1511 edition with Latin text, fine to good impressions, watermark Crowned Tower (B. 60, 64, 66, 73) or Flower and Triangle (B. 62, 74), the rest without watermark, with margins (the upper margins ranging from 15 to 20mm., the lower margin from 30 to 40mm., the left and right from 3 to 12mm.), the title page with a repaired tear extending from the centre left edge to the subject, some made-up areas at the left edge, other defects mainly at the edges, B. 66 with a crease at the upper right corner, B. 68 and 75 with a short tear in the right margin, B. 72 with some staining and pale grey wash at the top, B. 75 with a small made-up spot in the upper left border, one or two with creasing in the right margin, other minor defects, generally in very good condition, each taped at the reverse left edge, bound in 19th century crushed morocco, wide blind and gilt fillet border with 'AD at corners, spine similarly tooled and lettered in gilt, marbled endpapers, gilt edges, very light wear at extremities (album)
