etching, circa 1667, ninth state (of twelve), before the additional fine lines on the right leg of the pupil's table, a fair impression of this rare state, before the Picart edition, with Watermark Initials D, with small margins at the right and bottom, with thread margins or trimmed to or on the platemark at the other two sides, a soft diagonal crease extending from the lower left to the upper right edge, a further small crease towards the right sheet edge mainly visible verso, some pale foxing in the legend, a small glue stain with residual mounting at the upper reverse sheet edge, S. 240 x 176mm.; and a collection of Old Master Prints by or after H.
