lithograph printed in olive-green, 1894, on wove paper, an extremely rare proof without letters (Wittrock and Adriani record only four proof impressions without letters; there was also an edition of 100 with letters published by L'Estampe Originale), a very good impression, with margins on three sides, printed to the edge of the sheet at the bottom, a skilfully repaired tear at the upper right, split at the sheet edge (just extending into the upper right corner subject), three very pale red pen strokes at the lower left corner, a few small skinned areas at the left and upper reverse sheet edges, two small stamps at the lower reverse sheet edge, otherwise generally in good condition
