A French silver travelling toilet service
Maker's mark of Aucoc, Paris, circa 1870
Comprising seven glass bottles, four various oblong boxes, six various circular boxes, the silver covers with reeded borders applied with foliage, the engine-turned centres with three crescent badge, with similarly mounted travelling carriage clock with gilt chapter inscribed 'Leuchars & Son Geffroy Sr', the trays lifting out to reveal ten various leather boxes with metal mounts, and a tray of seventeen various ivory and steel instruments, the interior of the cover with further instruments in leather pouch, a blotter, an ivory paper knife, a mirror and comb, all in green velvet-lined leather travelling-case, marked on covers
