On a square base engraved with water-leaves, with chased ram's head supports, the cup raised on four chased dolphins on a circular plinth, the fluted and cut rock crystal cup mounted by two flanked handles with chased swans and palmettes, the rim chased with water-leaves and beads, the detachable plain cover with detachable chased fruit laurel ring- handle and wine leaves, marked on base, stem and rim, the cover with a guaranty mark
