Maker's mark of Antonine Boullier, Paris, 1787, the stand with maker's mark of Odiot, Paris, circa 1900
The tureen plain oval and on oval foot with matted gadrooned border, with water-leaf knop, the lower part applied with chased water leaves, with two openwork bracket handles cast and chased vine and foliage garland, the detachable high domed cover with gadrooned rim and detachable finial formed as two birds on a rock, the later plain oval stand with matted gadrooned border and on four baluster feet, the body and cover engraved with the initials LM within foliage, marked on stand, base, body and cover
