The porringer with maker's mark of WM, pellets and mullet below, London, 1664, the cover with maker's mark RD mullet below, struck four times only, London, circa 1668
Circular and on moulded foot, the body chased with flower heads and foliage, the upper part plain, with two female caryatid mask and scroll handles, the detachable cover with a broad band of chased flower heads and foliage, with baluster finial, the side later engraved with the date 1664 and the initial R, the base numbered 30, marked on base and cover
