The treatment of the landscape is comparable to that in a drawing of the same subject in the Leiden Prentenkabinett, A. Baroni Vannucci, Jan Van Der Straet detto Giovanni Stradano, Rome, 1997, no. 294. The Leiden drawing is dated by Alessandra Baroni Vannucci to the last years of the 16th Century.
