With rock crystal finials and enamelled columns; the reverse gilded and painted with a female classical bust above a vase of flowers; an opening on the reverse possibly originally to house a clock mechanism; with an upper door opening to reveal four drawers; the double doors opening to reveal seven drawers, each with a painted front, the reverse of each door with a rectangular silver relief; with two keys.
Elements associated and replaced; repairs; losses and minor damages.

Lot Essay
A table clock, sold from the collection at Mentmore (Sotheby's, 18-27 May 1977, lot 1053) for 70,000, exhibits virtually identical inlaid scenes, and probably emanated from the same workshop.
