The feet on this card-table would appear to be a variation of the trifid foot, a characteritic of Irish furniture (see Fancy Footwork, Christie's Important English Furniture catalogue, 23 April 1998, pp. 115-117).
A related George II walnut card-table with similar leaves at the top of the legs, was sold anonymously, Christie's South Kensington, 1 October 1997, lot 113.
