Tasting note: Impressive in cask, its opaque, rich, intense appearance has scarecely changed; bouquet harmonious and packed with fruit, plummy, fig-like. Sweetness, high alcoholic content, extract, fruit and flesh manages thinly to disguise the heavily laden tannin. More like Port! M.B.
