R. Chabannes & Co. Label (bin-soiled). Neutral capsule. Very good colour. Level very top-shoulder
Tasting note: Bordeaux bottled by Chabannes, level upper/mid-shoulder. Amber tawny with green tinge; beautiful scent, incredible fragrance: after an hour like ethereal fruit salad. On the palate sweet, fullish, concentrated, with fig-like flavour, marvellous acidity and aftertaste. The highlight of Bud Moon's Yquem tasting in Chicago, February 1988. M.B.
