The style of this picture is close to that of Bernardino Luini, see for example his Madonna of the Rose Hedge in the Pinacoteca di Brera, Milan (G. Bora et al., The Legacy of Leonardo. Painters in Lombardy 1490-1530, Milan, 1998, fig. 247).
