A Halberd
Late 16th Century
With long slender spike of stiff diamond section, crescentic axe-blade struck on each side with two crescent-shaped marks and pierced with three slipped trefoils, down-sloping beak-shaped fluke pierced with a further slipped trefoil and struck on each side with three dots and on one side with two marks, short open socket, four side-straps, two made separately, and wooden staff with later base and inlaid with a plaque engraved 'Adhmar von Linden, No. 14, 1882'
