Signed Huaud le puisn fecit, circa 1680, the movement signed Joseph Norris, Amsterdam, circa 1700
With gilt-finished verge movement, engraved and pierced cock, engraved foot, chain fuse, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals, centred by a painted polychrome enamel scene depicting Joseph and the Angel, gold bezel and pendant, the case with painted polychrome enamel landscape vignettes to the border framed by scrolling foliage and ribbon knots in yellow on blue ground, the reverse with a painted polychrome enamel scene depicting the Adoration of the Magi, the interior with a couple in a classical landscape, signed on case and on movement
