27-460, with skeletonised nickel-finished lever movement, 37 jewels, Gyromax balance, free sprung regulator, 18K gold rotor, the black brushed dial with white Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds, the circular water-resistant-type case (No. 2672396 Ref. 3561) with glazed screw back, downturned lugs, together with an 18K gold Patek Philippe buckle, case, dial and movement signed

Lot Essay

Patek Philippe confirm the production of this watch in 1968 and subsequent sale on 11 November 1968.

It is thought that the reference number 3561 was made in a limited edition of 50 examples only. This is probably only the second time that this particular model is offered in a public auction.

A similar watch, with different reference number though, is illustrated in Patek Philippe Wristwatches by Martin Huber & Alan Banbery, first edition p. 171 and second edition p. 219.
