A pair of Wedgwood black basalt wine and water ewers
after originals by Flaxman, urn-shaped, wine moulded with a figure of a fawn gripping the horns of a goat's head above swags of fruiting vines, above a band of leaves and a gadrooned section, water moulded with a triton holding a kilin's head above swags of stylised seaweed, the lower section applied with a stiff leaf band, both on square bases, impressed marks, circa 1885 (minor chip to one goat's horn) -- 40cm. high
