A Meissen two-handled circular bowl, cover and stand
the double scroll handles moulded with leaf terminals, painted in underglaze blue and gilt with birds and insects among stylised flowers, blue crossed swords marks, Pressnummern 3 and 9, circa 1735 (minute chips to the rim of the cover and minor rubbing to gilding) -- 18.2cm. diam.
