of shaped cylindrical form, painted with scattered sprays of flowers, the interior of the cover painted with two pugs dogs before buildings in landscape, circa 1750 (chip to the interior corner of the cover, some scratches to the surface of the cover, a minute firing crack and a glaze flake to the rim of the box, the mounts detatched from the lower section) -- 8cm. wide
