A Staffordshire pottery blue and white nursery plate
printed with a quarter-length profile portrait bust of George III made on the occasion of his death, 29th January 1820, the border moulded with a band of leaves and flowers, circa 1820 -- 12cm. diam.; another plate printed with a similar portrait in sepia, the border moulded with leaves and arches (cracked) -- 19cm. diam.; and an alphabet plate printed with a similar subject (restored rim chips and staining) -- 20.2cm. diam.
