printed in puce with a quarter-length portrait of William IV and Adelaide, both crowned, printed with a gartar-star below the inscription WILLIAM IV AND QUEEN ADELADE CROWND SEPr 8 1831, below a border of roses, thistles and shamrocks, circa 1831 (some staining and minor flaking) -- 15cm. high; and a pottery plate printed with a half-length portrait of Adelaide, the border reserved with panels of flowers and a crown, sword and sceptre, between scale pattern moulded sections, circa 1835 (some very minor flaking and staining) -- 21cm. wide See illustration (2)
