An English pottery pink lustre jug and basin set
printed with quarter-length profile portraits of Victoria and Louis Napoleon, the reverse with French and English sailors greeting each other below the banner May they ever be united, circa 1855 -- 22cm. high, the bowl with similar prints to the interior, the exterior with the Mariners Arms, the Sailors Farewell and a double portrait of Vitoria and Louis Napoleon, indistinct mark, probably for Dixon & Co.
