A Doulton stoneware oviform vase
made as a facsimile of a vase thrown and etched before Victoria at the Liverpool Exhibition May 1886, incised with spiralling oak leaves and stylised flowers below a shoulder moulded with a band of stiff leaves and initialled VR below a crown, enriched in shades of blue, green and brown, signed AEP (?), impressed mark, circa 1886 -- 17cm. high; and a Doulton stoneware slender oviform jar, moulded with a portrait bust of Victoria, commemorating the 50th year of her reign, moulded with flowers and stylised foliage, impressed mark, circa 1887 (cracked) -- 18cm. high
