An English pottery octagonal plate
printed in dark sepia with a quarter-length portrait of Prince Albert Victor, eldest son of the Prince of Wales, within a rectangular panel above tied rose, thistle and shamrock, below Prince of Wales feathers, printed registration No. to the reverse, circa 1886 (some flaking and rubbing) -- 24.2cm. high; a similar plate printed with the Prince of Wales (staining and minor damage); another plate similar printed with portraits of the Prince and Princess of Wales (rim chip and staining); another plate printed with a half-length profile portrait of Victoria (restored rim chip); and another plate commemorating the Golden Jubilee of Victoria, printed with a coat of arms, double portrait and panels titled India, Canada, Australia and South Africa (rim chip)
