An unrigged, partially planked dock-yard style model of the Royal Naval 16 gun ship Druid
with bound cutaway masts, painted male figurehead, hair rails, anchors with wooden stocks, catheads, deck rails, bitts, belaying rails and pins, companionways, windlass, gratings, guns in carriages, capstan, helm and other details. The hull, unplanked below the waterline revealing frames, planked pinned above with the main whale in a contrasting wood, is fitted with stern windows and partially planked and pinned decks, finished in varnish and mounted on two turned brass columns -- 12 x 30in.
