with masts, yards, simple rigging, anchors, capstans, hatches, wheelhouse and open bridge, deck rails, companionways, ventilators, funnels with safety valve extension pipes, eight life boats in davits, armament as appropriate, deck lights, and many other details, the hull of wood with fibreglass lining is finished in "copper" and black, two three-blade propellers with shafts connected to two small electric motors, rudder and portholes -- 19 x 45in. Sentinel (1904-1922) was originally built and engined by Vickers Maxim at a total cost of 282,000; her 17,500 horse power produced over 25 knots.
