A late Victorian parcel-gilt gem-set chalice,
on a domed foot with a knopped pedestal, chased with bamboo foliage and set with the following: a carved shell cameo, clusters of moonstones, garnets, coloured glass bosses, a turquoise-set gold cross, a gold initial "M", "E" and two horseshoe motifs all set with sea pearls and the following items of jewellery: a gold enamelled and gem-set brooch decorated with the arms of "Inniskilling", three gold ring-heads set with garnets, diamonds and sapphires, and two other items, the chalice by Hardman Powell & Co, Birmingham 1891 - 25.5cm high, 27oz.
