The mahogany and brass bound box inset with a plaque engraved with the initials 'M.C.S.', surmounted by a Viscounts coronet, opening to reveal original red velvet interior and compartments centred with a gilt-brass 1.7/8in. reel engraved 'Jas.Jones, Maker, 111 Jermyn St., London', folding turned ivory handle, lever-arm with locking nut engraved with registration mark for 1843, flanked by two leather and gilt embossed fly wallets, four covered small compartments with mother-of-pearl handles, the ebonised 6-piece, 10ft 6in., greenheart rod with spare top and top case all with gilt-brass fittings and drop-rings
