A pair of Bohemian white overlay and gilt portrait vases
with flared necks above ovoid bodies cut with oval panels painted with a woman playing a lute and a man smoking a pipe in the Dutch Old Master style, each with a panel to the reverse painted with sprays of flowers, each side with an oval cross-hatched panel, between stiff-leaf bands, on conical feet, circa 1860 (both restored to the feet) -- 35cm. high
