A Steiff dual plush 'Teddy Clown'
with hint of brown tipped cream mohair, brown and black glass eyes, pronounced clipped snout, black stitched nose, mouth and claws, swivel head, jointed shaped limbs, cream felt pads, hump, silk ruff and original felt hat with red pom-pom and button in ear --9in. (24cm.) tall (including hat), circa 1926 (dual plush only apparent in joints and under hat, rest of mohair now faded to a cream colour, ruff replaced, side squeaker inoperative)
