A fan, the gauze leaf painted with cupid offering a bouquet to a lady at an open window, the reserves embroidered with gold thread and sequins, the wooden sticks carved as branches and four continuing at the front of the fan as decoration, the lining signed U.L. - 11in. (28cm.), circa 1890
