carved in relief with birds among flowering branches -- 12.in (31.1cm) high; another similar, smaller -- 6.in (17.2cm) high; a similar carving depicting a seated figure of Budai holding a miniature shrine beside a boy -- 4.in (10.2cm) high; a similar seated maiden holding a scroll beside a bird on a rocky base -- 5.in (14cm) high; and another rose quartz carving of a standing maiden and boy holding flowersprays -- 7.in (19.7cm) high, all with wood stands, early 20th century.
