A Satsuma oviform vase
painted and heavily gilt with pagodas and shrines before waterfalls and rivers in a mountainous river landscape, all within geometric and foliate borders -- 15in. (40cm.) high; and a similar vase with a peacock perched on the branch of a maple tree flanked by chrysanthemum flowers and leaves, all on the banks of a river overlooking numerous thatched pavilions -- 14in. (37.5cm.) high, signed, 20th Century.
