with fixed pale blue eyes, inset hair and eyebrows, stuffed body and wax limbs in original white silk dress with net bonnet and blue sash, underclothes, shoes and socks -- 23in. (56cm.) high, stamped in a circle on the left leg DOLL MAKER TO THE ROYAL FAMILY 6 PRIZE MEDALS AWARDED, and in an oval on the right, H.J. MEECH DOLL MAKER OLD DOLLS CLEANED AND REPAIRED 53 KENNINGTON ROAD LONDON E1 ( cracked across nose and at side of eyes, right thumb missing)
