A small sgarffiato bowl
probably Emilian, incised with a full-length portrait of a young man within a plaited band and diamond pattern section enriched in a typical palette, circa 1500 (minor damages) -- 9cm. diam.; and another similar incised with a stylised flowerhead within a strapwork and leaf border, the exterior with demi flowerheads and leaves on a hatch pattern ground, incised mark, circa 1500 (some minor damage and restoration) -- 9.5cm. diam.
