The rococo case mounted with figures of cherubs to the top and to the four lower angles, with pink porcelain panels to the sides decorated en grisaille with cherubs holding floral bouquets, the conforming dial with individual gilt painted Roman chapters, black painted moon hands (minute damaged), domed porcelain top, the twin barrel movement with strike on bell to the backplate with number 429
