The case with brass ball and spire finials to the pagoda top hood with glazed side panels, outset brass stop-fluted columns, stepped breakarch mouldings above the door, breakarch trunk door with moulded frame, flanked by brass stop fluted chamfered angles, on plinth with quatrefoil panelling and stepped base (shortened), the silvered dial signed Edw.d Hopkins BRADFORD in the arch, with subsidiary seconds ring and date aperture to the centre, with replaced seatboard to the four pillar rack striking movement with anchor escapement; dial and movement associated to case, case last quarter 18th century, dial and movement later
