embroidered in 'three blues' twisted silk with four roundels of buddhistic lions of peking knot, gilt thread and peacock feather filament detail, playing with a ball, within floral and fretwork spandrels and paired fish at the shoulders, (made up, possibly from chair covers); and an apron skirt of red facecloth with applied peking knot motifs at front and back, late 19th century
