A large Japanese gilt-bronze model of an oni carrying a koro
with shishi finial, decorated with a continuous band of a coiled dragon among clouds on three feet, the figure with grimacing expression, wearing robes decorated with ho-o and flowers -- 23.in (59.7cm) high, signed Miyao to both the koro and oni, 19th Century, lacquered wood rectangular stand.
